Her work with cancer patients using a group of natural herbs to make a special tea was so promising, that Bracebridge Town Council encouraged her to run a clinic in town. She used four herbs: burdock root, sheep sorrel, slippery elm and Turkish rhubarb root. Rene shared her recipe with our stores founder, Eleanor Gaudaur, who passed it down to her son Jake.
