All sections are full length and straight except for a very slight set in one tip. Jim worked under the tutelage of Ted Simroe in the Leonard shop during the 70's. His lifetime rod output was at least 200 according to George Black in "Casting a Spell". For a short time he owned Eustis Edwards' beveler. Later he teamed up with Dave Decker and Hal Bacon
